Android app (beta)

Mind the Gates is coming to Google Play: the same live status and closure forecasts as the website, installed like any other app.

The closed test is full. Thank you to everyone who put their name down: we have the testers Google needs, so signups are closed. The app goes to the Play Store once the test period is done, and then you'll be able to install it like any other app. Worth checking back in a couple of weeks.

If you already signed up, there's nothing more to do: watch for the opt-in link by email.

In the meantime

The website does everything the app does. On Android, open mindthegates.uk in Chrome and tap ⋮ → Add to Home screen: you get an icon, full screen, and it works offline on a dead signal.

On iPhone?

There's no iOS app, but you don't need one: open mindthegates.uk in Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen, and you get the same thing: full screen, an icon on your home screen, no app store.

What we do with the emails already given

Each one is used once: added to the Google Play tester list so that Google account is allowed to install the beta. No newsletter, no other mail except the invite, never shared beyond that list. Want yours removed? Ask and it's gone: see the privacy policy.
