Android app (beta)

Mind the Gates is coming to Google Play — the same live status and closure forecasts as the website, installed like any other app. It's in closed testing right now, and Google requires a group of testers to use it for a couple of weeks before it can go public. That group could include you.

How it works

1. Leave your email above — we add it to the test group by hand.

2. You get an opt-in link. Tap it on your phone, opt in, and install from Google Play like any app.

3. Use it normally. That's the whole job — Google counts active testers, and enough of them for long enough unlocks the public release. If something looks wrong, tell us.

On iPhone?

There's no iOS app, but you don't need one: open mindthegates.uk in Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen, and you get the same thing — full screen, an icon on your home screen, no app store.

What we do with your email

It's used once: added to the Google Play tester list so your Google account is allowed to install the beta. No newsletter, no other mail except the invite, never shared beyond that list. Want it removed? Ask and it's gone — see the privacy policy.
